Sparkle or bling

Morning and hello! Hope you had a good week and are ready for the weekend? Here it's cold and freezing while I write this. Rain, heavy winds and snow from time to time. Well, spring weather. LoL

Today is it time for a new Christmas card from me and that means a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland as well. The theme set for these two weeks are: sparkle or bling or maybe a little bit of both.

I have used an image from our sponsor and it's called Mr and Mrs Snow. I won the image a while back but have not been able or had the time to use it before now. But here we go. It's coloured with my Letraset Markers and then some stickles from Rangers on top of that.

I have also used some gold card stock with a matte finish in gold to back the card. I have also used some Kraft card stock for that. The circle dies are from Gummiapan. The dp's are digitals from Echo Park, winter something something I think. The red foam letters comes from Sirap i Paris store. And the doily is bought at PY Hobby if I remember right. I cut it in half and spread it out a bit. Well, I think that's about it about this creation. I feel a bit more stressed out when it comes to my crafting at the moment as I am busy with work and soccer for the kids five or six days when it's at it's worst. But the season is short two intense months during spring and then the same again during fall. I will find some new routines to make it all work again. I have before and will again. Well my friends. Take care and do what makes you happy

Sentimental

Morning and hello! It's already Wednesday, can you believe it? How fast wasn't that long weekend over? Well, I spent it in bed with a heavy, mean cold. I can still not hear and it will probably be this way for a few more weeks. It's like getting water in your ear and it won't let go. Not even my hearing aid helps when it is like this. Living in my own little bubble.

We have a new challenge up for you today over at the Paper Shelter. It's called sentimental and that means that we want to see a sentiment of some kind on your creation. I have started my card, but have not had the chance to finish it yet. So you have to wait until later today to see it. However, I have used Fun and Sun and in it's precoloured version. I love the colours in that. Maybe a little optimistic to use a summer image when we had snow yesterday, but you can always dream.

I have paired up the image with some dp's from Echo Park but I don't remember the name of the pack. It's digital so I should have no trouble finding it. But I am probably so tired by now that I just can't see it. It might be from the collection Park Bench. The colour fitted the ones I have on my desk. :) The foam letters are as usually from Panduro. A few home made enameldots as well as a die cut sun from Lawn fawn finish it all off.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Going dotty!

Morning and hello! I am back again, finally with a new creation. I am back at work training and have not settle with my new routines yet. On top of that it's mid April and that means that the outdoor soccer season is on the go how to speak. Last weekend was the first tournament outdoor for the year and next weekend will the series start for the olderst. A few more weeks before the younger one start his series with a tournament the day before. It will be interesting to see how that will go. You are always totally beaten of tiredness a day after a tournament even if you don't play yourself.

Todays card then. The theme over at Passion for Promarkers is set by Lisa and this week we're "going dotty". I went back to my digital Echo Park papers as I love the happy colours in their collections. They just make me smile and the best part is that I can use only what I want, over and over again. So tons of happy colours. I think you will see more of these designs in the coming weeks. I believe that I have mixed the dp's from Celebrate Spring, Celebrate Easer 1 and 2. The image is from Teddy Bo and Company. Isn't they the cutest? It will take me some time how to learn to colour these bears again but it was nice as a change and inspiration. I love the look of the little turtle as well. He or she looks so very smart!

I am sorry about the bad picture.
It doesn't matter what I do the shading which looks nice IRL is horrible here.

I have used a few favourite die cuts on this card as well, from Lawn Fawn. I call them the weather set, but it's not the real name for them. A few home made enamel dots is also used to be extra dotty.

Make it digital

Morning and hello! Midweek again. I can't believe how fast the time is going. Already first week of April and the soccer season starts on Saturday, the outdoor part that is. But first a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. This week are we making it easy for you all. We're going digital. That means that you can use a digital image or digital designer paper, but only a computer generated happy birthday won't cut the deal. It shouldn't be that hard anyway.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

For my card this week have I used the fun and charming Venus Flytrap. It could be my dad sorting out what should stay or what should go. In his mind he is a great gardener, but when it comes to practise. Well, that's a whole other thing. LoL

I have coloured with my Letraset Markers and used Echo Parks digital versions of Celebrate Spring and Celebrate Easter. I love Echo Park's wonderful dp's. They never fail to make me smile with it wonderful happy colours. As decorations have I used a Martha Stewart punch and a gingham ribbon under the punched edge. Under the image is a sentiment added with my foam letters from Panduro. Yes I know, once again. But they are the best. Size and design is pleasing to my eye.

I hope that you will join us in this fun and simple challenge. You don't even have to use a Paper Shelter image on your creation. Any image goes but if you want to enter more than three times one has to have a TPS image on it.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Something metal

Morning and hello! Can you believe that we have already come to April in the calendar? How fast isn't time passing by? It's the first spring week and on Saturday is the first soccer tournament outdoors for the kids. Totally nuts! Let me tell you, I will have my winter jacket on as it is always super windy and cold when this tournament is played. Freezing! It's quite close to the see so the water makes it colder than it really is but cold it is. LoL

Well, even if it feels cold was I in the mood for some spring colours and have coloured up my Little winged friend from Bildmålarna in some lovely teal and pink and taken on some spring colours from the First Edition paper pack spring time or something like that.

Hmm, maybe I should tell you about the theme as well. Theme of the week is set by Julie and it's "Something metal". So what ever you can think of made of metal goes here. Charms, brads etc. I probably have charms lasting me a lifetime so I dug this cutie out and added it one of my flower clusters. Yes, I know I have used a ton of flowers and I need to use less but hey in the spring it's tons of flowers isn't it. Some pearls and pearl heats is also used to decorate the card. I think that the sentiment is from Bildmålarna as well. Butterflies are made with a punch from Martha Stewart.

As always when we have a challenge for you over at PFP you need to use your Promarkers or their cousins if you still have them, the trias. That is to have a chance to win our prize for the week. And this week is three digis from Crafty Sentiments. How nice isn't that?

Well the the folks, lets go out in the spring weather warm or cold...

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Love n hugs
